“I started running in 2003 with a 5k on my 36th birthday. I have no idea how many races I have ran to date, but my latest race has put me at 38 marathons, including four of them at 50K. I''''m hoping to run my first 50 miler December 1st, but that will depend on how quickly I can get over a pulled hamstring. My goal was to complete the 50 states, I currently have 20. I am thinking if I am going to do that, why not do them as ultras instead of regular marathons.”
