“I’m 65 years old, married, and live in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
I started running in 1978, at the age of 30, in order to lose weight. I ran for the next couple of years, completing a couple of 10K races and two marathons. Then life happened, and I was away from running for the next 30 years. I got back to it late in 2008. I ran my first ultra in 2009, my first trail ultra in 2013, and am about to run my first 6 hour track ultra.
I’ve survived two bouts of prostate cancer, in 2006 and 2010. I’m an Aspie (i.e., I have Asperger’s Syndrome)

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- •Finished the Vulture Bait 50K, my first trail ultra, in pouring rain and cold temperatures.
- •Finished the Niagara 50K, my first ultra.
