“I was a gurl that hated to sweat and thought sneakers were ugly (still do). I started walking with a friend 5 days a week. Six months later, in 2004, I was training for the LA Marathon. I ran three marathons in that first year of running. I ran roads because I did not want to get my shoes dirty. Now, I run mostly trails - ultra style. Never too late to start.
